Straumingen

These pictures were taken during a week-end journey on M/K Straumingen, a refurbished traditional fishing boat from 1955. The boat is owned and operated by the coastal association of the Isle of Jøa (Jøa Kystlag). The trip took us to Nordøyan (« The North Islands »), which used to be an important fishing village in the outermost edge of the Namdal region (Trøndelag, Norway). All images were captured on a 35mm film camera.
